The organisers of the London International Ska Festival have announced the first headline event for the 2017 festival - BABYLON live.
The iconic reggae film will be brought to you by the soundtrack composer DENNIS BOVELL and very special guests at one of London's truly historic venues.
Tickets go on sale on 1 July. Entrance is free to LISF2017 wristband ticket holders
Reggae musician DENNIS BOVELL and jazz guitarist CIYO BROWN will perform two special ‘Jazz Dubbed’ shows this summer in London.
Jamaican reggae legends JUNIOR REID, BIG YOUTH and HALF PINT are among the latest acts confirmed for this year’s One Love Festival in the UK.
Jamaican reggae singer DAWN PENN will headline the Southend Splash event this summer.
PENN will appear on the bill alongside the likes of DENNIS BOVELL, JAH SCREECHY and many more.
The show takes place on 3 September at the Borough Hotel in Southend with tickets priced £14 in advance.
The record, which incorporates elements of reggae and hip-hop, has sold 29,000 copies and spent eight weeks at the top of Billboard’s weekly reggae albums chart.

English lovers rock singer CARROLL THOMPSON and reggae pioneer DENNIS BOVELL will next month take a live show around the country.
In addition to a Lover's Rock Monologues show alongside JANET KAY and VICTOR ROMERO EVANS, THOMPSON will then join KAY for a special show at the Jazz Café in Camden between Christmas and New Year, and then on to Kingsmeadow Live! for Valentine’s Day 2015.

The British reggae double-bill takes place on 11 October with tickets priced from £13 (early bird) to £15 in advance.
Lovers rock royalty DENNIS BOVELL and SANDRA CROSS will perform live at this year’s Lovers Rock & Rare Groove Weekender in the Midlands.
The big weekend takes place on 25-27 July at the Copthorne Hotel, Merry Hill, in the West Midlands with limited early bird tickets available at £175 per person.

The London International Ska Festival has added more live acts to its 2014 event including REBELATION, LAUREL AITKEN's PRESSURE TENANTS and DENNIS BOVELL.
November this year will see the return of 'Specialized - The Big One 2' featuring headliners THE BEAT and the LEE THOMPSON SKA ORCHESTRA.
Other top acts over the three days include DENNIS BOVELL, KING HAMMOND and THE HOTKNIVES, among many others.
The album artwork and release date for TOKYO SKA PARADISE ORCHESTRA’s upcoming new album can now be revealed.
Guest vocalists on the Japanese ska band’s 17th album include DENNIS BOVELL, YOSHIE NAKANO and HANAREGUMI.
The new record goes on sale from 14 November.

Reggae musician and producer DENNIS BOVELL will be serving as master of ceremonies at the Bristol Reggae Explosion Live show in Bristol later this month.
The former MATUMBI member went on to become a key figure in the lovers rock and dub genres, but is most widely known for his collaborations with LINTON KWESI JOHNSON.
LINTON KWESI JOHNSON, THE DENNIS BOVELL DUB BAND and HOLLIE COOK are among the latest additions to the WOMAD festival in the UK.
LKJ and BOVELL will be getting the festival started on the early bird opening slot on Thursday night (26 July).
