JANET KAY & CARROLL THOMPSON line up Jazz Café gig

Lovers rock singers JANET KAY and CARROLL THOMPSON will perform a special show at the Jazz Café at the end of the year.

The show takes place on 28 December with tickets priced at £20 in advance or £25 on the door.

In 1981 CARROLL THOMPSON topped the reggae charts twice with “I’m Sorry” and “Simply In Love”.

JANET KAY is perhaps best known for hit single “Silly Games” which was released in 1979, making her the first British black female reggae artist to top the UK pop charts.

KAY is currently recording a new album after releasing her The Definitive Hits Collection (1977-1985) album in 2008.
