Bristol gets first Ska and Mod Festival

Early bird tickets priced at £25 are now on sale for the first ever Bristol Ska and Mod Festival this April.

The big event takes place on 5 April at Motion and the Marble Factory, near Temple Meads.

Headliners for the inaugural festival will be Bruce Foxton's FROM THE JAM, whose set will span the career of THE JAM. They will be joined on the bill by one of the best ska bands on the live circuit, 2 RUDE.

Within the festival site there will be outside bars selling real ale, cider and guest beers; hot and cold food available all day; spacious smoking areas and a Mod Market of stalls in addition to two stages of great live music and entertainment.

Standard price tickets will soon be £30 and the price for the final release will be £35.

Many more bands across two stages will be added in the coming weeks including other headliners.

Check out the Facebook event page for more information.

In April last year 2 RUDE released its first EP called Cool Down on independent record label 2 Rude Records.
