I Am The Gorgon comes to Bristol, plus Q&A with BUNNY LEE

As part of Black History Month, The Watershed in Bristol will be hosting a special screening of ‘I Am The Gorgon’, including a Q&A session with legendary producer BUNNY “STRIKER” LEE.

The brand new film is based on the life of BUNNY LEE and how Jamaican music spread from the ghettoes of Kingston around the globe.

Directed by Diggory Kendrick, the film features interviews with U ROY, JOHNNY CLARKE, CORNELL CAMPBELL, JOHN HOLT, KING JAMMY, DERRICK MORGAN and many more.

The Bristol premiere of the documentary takes place on 10 October at 8:30pm and tickets are just £8 for the whole evening.

DOWNBEAT MELODY selector STEVE RICE will host the Q&A, followed by a book signing, and will then be joined by special guests for a live set in the Café/Bar.

The event is presented by Ujima Radio 98FM and TNB Bristol, part of the Arise & Shine Project supported by the National Lottery through BFI and Creative England.
