Jamaican dancehall artist ELEPHANT MAN, real name O’Niel Bryan, has been charged with “grevious sexual assault and rape”.
According to the Jamaica Observer he was taken into police custody yesterday for questioning by detectives.
The Jamaica Star has reported that he is alleged to have raped a 31-year-old female, believed to be of Chinese descent, at his Hillcrest Avenue, St Andrew home earlier in the month.
Bryan is booked to appear in court tomorrow (1 February).
Last June the singer was arrested at his home and charged with illegally “abstracting electricity”.
On the music front ELEPHANT MAN released two new tracks at that start of the month - “Gal Settings” on Di Genius Records and ‘On Di 2012’ from Mafio House Productions.
