New MAVADO track featuring AKON: Listen to it here

One of the first releases from dancehall artist MAVADO’s upcoming album on DJ KHALED’s We The Best label can now be heard below.

The “Survivor” track, which features US R&B star AKON, is finally here:

The Jamaican artist - whose real name is David Brooks - is now also expected to face trial on a charge of assault in May next year. The charge relates to an incident that occurred at BOUNTY KILLER’s birthday party in June at the Quad Night Club, New Kingston.

MAVADO is set to appear in the UK next month for a handful of live shows featuring CHIPMUNK, GAPPY RANKS and STYLO G, as well as newly announced acts LEA-ANNA, RATLIN, CHUCKY and ASKALA SELASSIE.
