MAVADO trial pushed back to February

Jamaican dancehall artist MAVADO, real name is David Brooks, is set to return to court on 12 February 2013 for his assault trial.

The case was scheduled to get underway earlier this month, but a judge adjourned the trial because Brooks’ attorney is engaged in another trial.

The singer was charged last year for assaulting a police officer during an alleged altercation at a nightclub in Kingston, which was also the setting for BOUNTY KILLER's birthday, and resulted in his friend Conroy Edwards being killed.
